This initial message will be directed primarily to parents. This will not always be the case, sometimes our blog will be geared specifically toward the kids!
We plan to use the blog for a variety of purposes. First, to communicate the happenings of the Office of Christian Formation and secondly to give random thoughts on goings on in our world. Our views are our own although will always be in line with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Know that any 'opinion' you will find here is totally that of the author (usually Terry or myself) and not that of Fr. Marc or any other staff members! We promise not to be too controversial! :)
We encourage parents to view the blog and we will be starting a few for the 5th & 6th graders as well as one for our Jr. High program. It is another tool for us to reinforce what we are doing with kids in the classroom. We only have kids in our care for very short windows of opportunity and know that technology is something they enjoy and are interested in----meet them where they are at!
Jesus taught in parables. He talked about sheep to the Shepherds. He spoke about grain to the farmers. He discussed fishing with the fishermen. He did not expect everyone to know about carpentry! So---this is our small attempt to meet your kids where they are at!
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you and as always, if you have any questions or concerns....feel free to contact us in the office.
Peace of Christ,
Michelle Allain, Asst. Coordinator of Christian Formation

Welcome parents and students,
As you can see, Michelle has done a GREAT job creating our wonderful new element to our web page. We have joined the communication world of the 21st century in the hopes of helping you help your children to make their faith central in their lives on a daily basis. Being Catholic is who we are, not just something that we do. Its important for us to reach out into the world of our children and show them how faith can use all means of communication to spread the gospel. With your help and comments, we hope what we do with this blog will help to foster and bring about conversion of people's hearts, minds and souls for Christ. Enjoy our new format and please, give us your constructive criticisms as we begin a new era of communication. God bless you all!
Terry
